My Story

Hi everyone! My name is Erik.

My journey as a dogwalker started in the summer of 2020. Like many people, I had just left my job during the shutdowns and wasn't sure what was next. That's when I was presented with the opportunity that would change everything, that summer I met Charlie boy.

What started as daily walks quickly turned into something more. Charlie wasn't just my first client; he became my bestfriend. He belonged to a sweet lady named Mrs. Maddy, who trusted me to care for him like her most prized possession. Charlie was a rescue she and her husband had adopted together, and after her husband's passing, Charlie became her greatest companion. He was loved and treated like royalty, and I took pride in being the one entrusted with his care. That experience taught me why private care matters so deeply. It's not just about walking a dog, it's about honoring the bond they share with their family.

After about a year, I realized this was more than just a side passion, it was the beginning of something bigger. I started sharing my services on Nextdoor, and word spread quickly through referrals. Before long, I was working with families who valued the same thing Mrs. Maddy did: knowing their dog was cared for with patience, attention, and trust.

Earlier this year, Charlie crossed the rainbow bridge. Saying goodbye was incredibly hard, but it reminded me why this job is so meaningful. Our time with our dogs is precious, and the love we share with them stays with us forever.

Everything I do now comes from that same place - love for the dogs I work with and the passion I have for this job. As an owner of a reactive dog, I know firsthand how much extra care and attention they require. That's why I've built my business around patience, reliability, and giving each dog the same level of care I'd want for my own.
