CHARLIE
Erik has been walking our 4 year old German Shepherd, Charlie, 4 times a week for over 18 months. To say Charlie LOVES Erik would be an understatement. If Charlie is in the front yard, he goes to the gate and patiently looks for Erik. Erik is an excellent communicator—if he’s going to be even 3 minutes late, he texts to let me know. On the few occasions when he’s needed to change our regular walks, he lets me know well in advance. Also, if anything unusual happens on a walk (vomiting, diarrhea, a reaction to a strange acting person), he reports it to me. Erik walks Charlie in a trained and disciplined manner that has made it easier for me to walk him when I need to. Truly, I cannot imagine a better dogwalker for me or my pup!

Erik has been walking our golden retriever for over a year now and we can’t recommend him enough! Our dog waits at the window and as soon as Erik parks his car, starts excitedly pacing around the house-it’s very cute! Erik is professional, flexible and takes great care of our boy. Highly recommend!

Erik was absolutely amazing! He went above and beyond taking care of our two large dogs. It’s not easy finding someone we can fully trust to handle them, but Erik did an incredible job. He kept us updated with videos and pictures the entire time, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our vacation was so much more enjoyable knowing our dogs were in such great hands. It took us years to find a reliable and trustworthy sitter, and we’re so glad we finally found Erik. We couldn’t recommend him enough!

I have 2 med-large dogs and Erik was able to manage them without any issues. One of the dogs has some leash aggression but he was able to help maneuver her on the walks. Overall, Erik is very trustworthy and an excellent caregiver for my pets.

I was working with Eric the Dogfather to help with our dog Blue, a 2-year-old, 85-pound Yellow Labrador Retriever who can be very reactive to other dogs on walks. I initially hired Eric not just to walk Blue, but to help me learn how to manage his excitement and reactivity during walks. Eric has been incredibly patient—not just with Blue, but with me as well. He guided Blue through focused, structured walks and taught him (and me) how to stay calm and attentive, even when other dogs are nearby. With Eric's help, Blue learned to focus more on the walk and less on distractions. Eric showed me how to handle situations where Blue gets overly excited, pulls, or ignores commands on walks. His advice has made a difference—Blue is now much easier to walk, and I feel more confident knowing how to handle tricky moments. I truly appreciate Eric’s knowledge, calm approach, and support.
